Going back farther than I can remember, the Baldasti, Snow, and Lindberg couples have been getting together the week after Labor Day at one of our homes.  This year we stayed at the Baldasti residence in Westlake Village.  This and two other web pages contain a few highlights of the visit.  Three additional pages, easily accessible to the general public, are devoted to pictures taken at the Nethercutt San Sylmar, the recently opened Nethercutt Museum, and the Reagan Library.

Dick Snow enjoys coffee and the paper before breakfast.

Lorraine does the same.

Meanwhile, Hazel cooks sausages to go with German Pancakes (a.k.a. Dutch Babies).

Hazel never wastes a minute in her kitchen.

Lorraine and Dick, ready for breakfast on the patio.

After breakfast, Walt, Dick and Herb headed off to Los Robles Greens for 18 holes.

Walt warms up his putter on the practice green.

Dick is ready to do the same.  Chipping and bunker practice green in the background.

Here Dick shows his solid putting stroke.

Then we moved the few yards over to the chipping green.

Walt shows good chipping form (note ball in air left of flag).

Smiling Dick and Walt out on the course

Smiling again as they approach another tee

Dick makes a tee shot.

Walt shows his tee shot form.

Los tres amigos

Dick hits his approach shot to a green hiding behind a tree.
All three of us managed to hit this tree in the middle of the fairway.

Dick shows his form again.

Herb gets his considerable midsection weight into his tee shot.

Another beautiful Hazel table spread that evening: London broil, veggies, salad and wine.
Then back to watching the U.S. Tennis Open, another reunion tradition.
