Neighbors in four side-by-side lake front homes celebrate with a barbecued pig party.  Gary Zirelli got up at 2 a.m. to lay out a fire, mount the pig on the spit and start the fire. He endured the fire heat on top of the 100F day until the pig was done about 5 p.m. Other neighbors chipped in to relieve him.

In addition to the images on this page I've also posted many of the pictures in much larger versions so you can zoom in to see more detail, especially pictures with many people in them. You can download these by clicking on the pictures here as indicated in the captions. Larger images mean larger files so be prepared to wait a bit for the downloads.  After viewing the larger image click you browser's back arrow to return to this page.  If you don't have a high-speed Internet connection these may not be suitable for you. Try a few to find out.

These larger images are included in part to be used in your printing high resolution photos, perhaps through a photo service.  Right click on the image to download it as a file on your computer.
