On the way home from a 10-day visit with Mary's brother Harry Pagels and his wife Carol in Bellingham, WA, Mary and I stopped in for a one-day visit with Hal and Barbara Stilson at their new digs in Issaquah, WA.  We drove down Hwy 5 from Bellingham and then took the Hwy 405 bypass, which loops east of Seattle.  Hal and Barbara's townhouse community is about 8 miles east of 405 on Hwy 90, at the south end of Lake Sammamish.  It's one of several communities with external paint and landscaping cared for by the community association, along with water and basic TV.  Shortly after arriving at about 10 a.m., Hal made sandwiches and we were off to a picnic on the south shore of Lake Sammamish.
