Dock Upgrade at the Lindberg Resort
Taken September 4 to 19, 2010

This is a quick pictorial summary of the repairs and upgrade that were made to completely remove the rotted dock and replace it with updated wood products.  In particular, the structural part that is subjected to submersion by wave action is pressure treated by chemicals that are much more resistant to rot but yet friendly to fish, plants and humans in the water.  The decking material was again a composite of plastic and ground wood which is extremely resistant to rot.
All of the rotten wood is being removed and replaced by new wood.

New super-pressure-treated structure in place.

The main crossbeam is dropped into the hangers.
