Work on Tuesday, June 14, 2011

Sand for the turf, cinderblocks for the wall

Wall in progress

Mary checks out the wall height for seating comfort.

Fully loaded mini concrete tumbler

Brandon and Alfredo fill cinderblocks with concrete.

Brandon smoothes off the top of the concrete.

Tony brings down another tractor bucket of concrete mix.

Fredo scrapes the concrete into his wheel barrow.

Six of the cinderblock holes are left open for insertion of lamps.

Meanwhile, Nik and Sean spread sand onto the turf.

Several open cinderblocks for lamps can be seen here.

Nik sweeps the sand down to the base of the turf blades, to make them stand up and hold down the turf.

Tony (on knees) and Fredo place peeler poles in a concrete base.

Fredo put a smooth surface on the peeler pole base concrete.
