Lakeside Landscaping in 2011
at the Lindberg Lake Wildwood Resort

Part 12 -- Wall Details, Cobblestone Facing, Used Brick Cap

Work on Wednesday to Friday, June 15-17, 2011

Brandon cuts slots for in-face LED lighting.

Slots and wiring are already in place in the wall on the other side of the walkway.

Light fixture box on the opposite side of above input wiring.

Thursday morning, June 16 -- manufactured cobblestone rock halves laid out for mortaring to outer face of cinderblock wall.

Alfredo applies mortar ...

... then Tony presses halves into place.

Work progressed swiftly...

... and the facing was in place when we returned at 1 p.m. Saturday, ...

... on both sides of the walkway to the lake. Wall height is perfect for sitting on the used-brick cap.
The returns on each side of the first step have yet to be finished with cobblestone and used brick.

Also in the two days we were away, Tony and crew modified the Zirelli's landscaping to include this green.

Our wall sets off the greens nicely.

View from back of wall shows where gravel, then soil, will be placed to drain the planting area on this side of the walkway.
