Basic design rule for house is that all living areas and bedrooms have a lake view and deck access both upstairs and downstairs.  The view areas upstairs include living and dining rooms, kitchen and nook.

Main floor and downstairs have separate heating and air conditioning systems, and downstairs can be closed off for maximum efficiency when not in use.  Main floor Is just one step up from ground level.  The upstairs air conditioning unit, furnace and control system were replaced with ultra-efficient units three years ago.

Large room off entry hall, ideal for one- or two-person office.  Can also be used as fifth bedroom.

Jetted tub and large built-in chest of drawers in master bathroom.

Built-in chest of drawers between dual closets in upstairs guest bedroom, which also has its own separate bathroom with large shower.  This is virtually a second master bedroom.

Complete set of high intensity emergency flood lights all around the house, turned on by switches at each end of house: in the kitchen and in the master bedroom.

Extra-large (depth and width) 3-car garage with insulated walls and doors, and installed upper and lower kitchen-style cabinets on house-side wall.  Cabinets are 9 feet wide with a 1.25-inch-thick plywood bench top added to the lower work-area cabinets extending 1-foot beyond on each side for bench vises; total bench length 11 feet.  Heavy-duty metal-working vise on left side and flush wood-working vise on right side.

Maximum allowable size U-shaped dock with hydraulic boat lift. Dock structure completely rebuilt seven years ago.  Both sides and center of dock fitted with boat tie down cleats to accommodate 2 owner and 1 guest boat.

Landscaping and kitchen appliances have been extensively updated.
