Mary was only 12 years old when the boys joined the services to fight World War II.  When they returned 4 to 5 years later she had grown into a teenage beauty.  Spearheaded by Gus and Harry, this was the time to take pin-up pictures similar to those they had tacked up in their barracks.  It's clear everyone had a good time with this.

Gus had been in the Air Force


And Harry had been in the Navy

Their high jinks started by switching uniforms


Mary looked better than either in Harry's dress blues.
