Mid Bloomer.  Five petals, pink flowers on slender grass-like stems. Notes:  Mallow family includes Hollyhock and Hibiscus.  Also called  Hartweg’s Sidalcea.  The flower bract is undivided and very short.  Common in masses in open fields.
