Enjoying the Grand Champions Villas
Hawaii Golf / Beach Trip -- January 8-15, 2001

Below are pictures of the Grand Champions Villas where we stayed. As you can see, the Villas are a dream for a golfer because in a few short steps from your unit you can walk the beautiful course in the early morning and near sunset, when there are no golfers. For beach lovers like Mary, you must make an effort to go a half mile to the shore. Mary made the walk a couple times while I was golfing (mostly to visit the new shopping mall on the way) and we went by car on non-golf days. We'd park in the mall lot and then walk about a city block through the Outrigger lobby to the beach.

A short walk through this view brings you to the public access walkway above the beaches. Below is a broad view of the beach we swam, taken almost immediately after turning right onto the walkway.
