As is our custom, the second and third generation Lindbergs had their main Christmas celebrations at their homes in the Bay Area and then came to visit Mary and me at "The Resort" (Mary's brother Gus's name for our home in Lake Wildwood) for a second Christmas on December 27^th. Everyone was here except Julie, in Bellville, IL, who sent presents and called to wish everyone Merry Christmas. Both Barbara and I took pictures off and on, and she kindly let me upload hers onto my computer along with mine. When I use one of hers here I add "(Barb pic)" in the caption (although no one calls her Barb).

This present was a "stocking stuffer" that Mary bought as part of the Christmas stockings for each of the kids that she hung from the downstairs fireplace mantel. Mary was worried (a Pagels trait) that it would be a silly game but it turned out to be a big hit of the day. The yo-yo sized computer asks questions on a marching-word marquee display and tries to fathom the item you're thinking of. It does surprisingly well at getting the right answer (it got "golf ball" and "Website" when I played with it).
