You will see many pictures of these two doing such daring things.
Dot, on top where possible, was obviously the instigator.

Another great shot of Dells by Dot.

Dot took these pictures with a bellows camera that she continued to use through her married life with Ed. You will have seen the camera in a few pictures in these albums. The bellows was patched and patched with adhesive tape until it couldn't be patched anymore. Ed bought her an Argus C-3 camera that took 35-mm slides, which were superior for projecting scenic shots onto a large screen. Dot used it during bus trips she took in the 50's after we children were grown and on our own. As of 2003 Bob is caretaker of a large store of professional-quality scenic shots from these trips. After Dot could no longer function she gave the camera to Larue, who still has it in working condition. It's not used much because Larue prefers 110-mm film for snapshots.

The basket Anne is using was the container used to sell grapes. It was called a Grape Basket and had many household uses after the grapes had been eaten. When Larue was little Dot used a grape basket to make a bed for Larue's baby doll. These baskets didn't go out of use until after World War II.
