This is at their honeymoon home in Gwinn, Michigan, 30 miles southeast of Ishpeming.
Ishpeming is in the upper peninsula, where Ed's father John was supervisor of an iron mine.

As you will learn, Dorothy had Down's syndrome and lived only until 17 years.
She was a very sweet girl and loved by all in the family.
Best-known saying: "I don' want any of them damn bims (beans)."
