Moat at the Tower of London.

We entered via this draw bridge, with a provided wheelchair.  Barbara got in free because she pushed the wheelchair!

There are many dramatic views of Tower Bridge from within the Tower of London grounds.   (Click for Large)

We are inside the Tower of London grounds facing Waterloo Block (formerly Barracks) at the far end (Item 3 in the map above).

Farther along the street above.  On near right is Hospital Block.  (Click for Large)
On far right is the Headquarters of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers with Regimental Museum.

A fancy canon.

Read all about it -- it weighs 5 3/4 tons and throws 24-pound balls.   (Click for Large)

Waterloo Block, where we viewed the crown jewels.

Large monkeys.   (Click for Large)

Strange hair.   (Click for Large to confirm what it is)

Ahh, clever use of chicken fencing.

A few actors in period costumes helped set the tone.

Guard at Waterloo Block (formerly Barracks).
