Part 9 -- Install Greens

Work on Friday, June 10, 2011

Sean and Tom hoist folded section of short-blade turf which they had cut from the roll.

Turf on the tractor, ready for its trip to our back yard.

Tractor heads down the gravel path between our house and the Zirelli's.

A team of four carry the turf to the small green.

Then it is unfolded and put in place.

A larger section of turf is similarly unfolded to become most of the larger green.

It's a monster piece of turf, about half of the roll.

Sean begins to make a cutout around a planter boulder.

Here, he cuts off the salvage edge of the turf.

Muscle power and tractor bucket get the glue machine back up for over night storage in our garage.
