Access to Vignettes that Accompany Photos

Larue Lindberg Prate has gone through the albums to identify who is in them, and while doing so recalled many vignettes of happenings and thoughts associated with particular photos. As Bert Lindberg created this Web version he added a few stories as well. This page gives links to these vignettes. They are listed here simply in the order that they appear in the albums. In most instances, the link jumps to the picture concerned with the vignette -- be sure to scroll down from the picture to see the vignette. Larue also wrote several articles based on family recollections for her column "From the Front Porch" in the Guadalupe newspaper. Links to these are given from the photo pages and also at the bottom of this page.
